Overview
The Budget Committee consists of nine voting members and two alternate members each of whom are elected for staggered three-year terms. The members are nominated by the Board of Selectmen and elected at the annual Town Meeting.
The Budget Committee is responsible for reviewing the annual proposed budget prepared by the Town Manager and the recommendations of the Board of Selectmen. The Committee then presents its recommendations at the Annual Town Meeting.
